ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION FOR FACILITIES ENGINEERING (AFE)
The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) is the premier organization for facility engineers and maintenance personnel. AFE unites a large community of like-minded professionals for networking opportunities, knowledge-sharing and support. AFE provides education, certification, technical information and other relevant resources for plant and facility engineering, operations and maintenance professionals throughout the country; Chapter 80 is the New York City area chapter.

Mission Statement

Association for Facility Engineering (AFE) is a professional membership organization of 10,000 members and growing. We bring together professionals who ensure the optimal operation of plants, grounds and offices at Fortune 500 manufacturers, universities, medical centers, government agencies and innovative small firms from around the world. And, they all took to AFE as the leading technical resources on engineering issues. AFE mission is to provide trade-craft related certification, technical information and other relevant resources to plant and facility engineering, operation and maintenance professionals worldwide.

Our goals we set this year are simple:


 Student Chapter at Pratt University, 60 students signed up.

 

Since we have reactivated Chapter 80 in November 2015 , the interest has been an under statement . The turnout at our meetings has doubled and we have surpassed our 2017 goal 100 members.We have gotten a lot of interested from a very diversified group in New York . THANK YOU EVERYONE
